 Mental Lap Band™

The Mental Lap Band™ is the sensation of your stomach being smaller by an induced muscular gastric tightening similar to a that from a surgical gastric band.  This sensation results from a non-surgical procedure that uses hypnosis and the power of your mind to squeeze the walls of your stomach tightly to make a small food pouch at the top that fills easily and stops your hunger.

Since your sub-conscious mind regulates all of your body processes, it produces the sensation of constriction on your stomach.  You feel satiated with smaller quantities of food, you eat less and you easily make better food choices.  The result is that you steadily lose excess weight, reach your healthy weight wellness goal, and easily maintain a balanced nutrition thereafter.

Duncan Tooley, Certified Medical Hypnotist and Hypnosis Instructor, developed and trademarked the process for installing the the Tooley Mental Lap Band™ utilizing the proprietary process that he invented. He then developed a comprehensive program to support participants.

Clinical validations were conducted in Torrance, CA. Enrollees in the validation benefited from from the sub-conscious release of excess weight through hypnosis and social support. The participants used no diet but did listen to reinforcement audio programs daily.  On average, they released greater weight than the recommended goal of 1-2 pounds per week. The average for the first week was over 5.5 pounds, with lesser amounts in later weeks.

 The program is now offered to the public as an 8-week package with support increments of 10 weeks and 25 weeks.  There is no qualifying  medical criteria, like BMI over 30, or impending major illness.  There is a program to suit every weight loss goal, and it can be attended remotely via phone.
